WHO WE ARE
MARCHLIGHT
Founded in 2000, Marchlight is many things to us: A film company, theatre company, puppet building company… In short, we aim to create beauty and magic out of the unexpected. We are a husband (Mark Huisman) and wife (Claire Frances Muir) partnership, making bowls, boards and sculpture from salvaged and reclaimed wood.
OUR PRODUCTS
Mark cuts, shapes and turns.
Claire is a Pyrographer who hand burns her drawings into the bowls and plates made by Mark.
All our products are made from salvaged and reclaimed wood and finally
finished with beeswax and mineral oil.
OUR STUDIO
We have a tiny studio on Gabriola Island and we're in the process of expanding so we'll be able to display more of our products. Scroll up for our HOURS (Protocols in Place).
